Medically Complex Child #specialneeds

So after another visit to All Children's Hospital, my daughter has been labeled as a medically complex child. It is not something that any parent wants to hear, but it helpful when getting diagnoses and getting treatment in the medical field. Physicians are more likely to keep up to date on tests done by other doctors, new medications prescribed by other doctors and work together with other doctors treating the child. We took our special needs kid for a doctor appointment yesterday and realized that there's so much we have to learn. Questioning My Parenting Skills

I've been down in the dumps because I'm questioning my own parenting skills. There's been so much happening with our daughter that I feel like my decisions are often wrong. Keep in mind that my daughter has been diagnosed with Sinus Tachycardia, Narcolepsy, Anxiety and Depression. She has panic attacks (they are not related to the tachycardia). Narcolecspy In Children

I'm learning something new again about health issues for children and not by choice. My daughter Sammi has been diagnosed with Narcolepsy. In a way I'm happy to have one answer to the troubles she's been enduring. In other, I'm scared beyond belief.
