Winter Wonderland

photo credit: Gary Denness I tell you, my daughter's school and PTSO is awesome. Tonight was Winter Wonderland. It's usually an event where there's a movie, popcorn, hot cocoa, etc. and the money raised goes to a charity. This year though, since times are hard, we did something very different. Local stores donated Christmas trees. The students made ornaments for the trees. Every tree was donated to a family from our school who couldn't afford to get one on their own. Fundraiser and Movie With PTSO

Tonight Peanut's school PTSO had a fundraiser for All Children's Hospital. We had a Movie and Pizza night. There was a $2 donation requested to see the movie Cars, as much pizza as you could eat, popcorn and lemonaide or gatoraide. I'm proud to be a part of a school organization that not only strives to provide for all of the children at our school but for worthy non-profits too.
