Sometimes I Wish I Were a Brit Like Right Now

The pomp and circumstance, the revelry…I’d love to be a Brit right now and celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. These are the kind of celebrations I thrive on – where strangers get together in good or horrid weather and show their patriotism. The traditions and formality that have lasted through the years makes me wish for more civility here. The difference from celebrations in the USA is that we don’t have Royalty.
