World Book Night Giver

Last night was World Book Night, the first one in the US. I was thrilled to be a giver. That means that I was chosen to give away 20 books that were provided to me to people in my community. The goal was to share the gift of reading with those that normally don't read. I gave away the book I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou as it is one of my favorites and is often banned in schools.
