Clothing is Better Together with P & G Products

It is almost summer and for many of us that means we add a few new items to our wardrobe. With Tide, Downy and Bounce (Procter and Gamble products) used together you can keep your clothes in top notch condition. They work better together because Tide keeps clothes looking brand new and removes stains easily; Downy is a fabric softener, but adds softness to clothing that needs it too; Bounce rounds out the trio, by reducing static cling. These laundry products are better together for both new and used clothing. Want to keep your clothing fresh all summer?  Want to be sure that your new … [Read more...]

Getting My Beauty and Fashion on with StyleUnited

When I was younger, I was overwhelmed with beauty and fashion and looking good. I spent too much money on clothes, my hair, and makeup and spent too much time shopping and getting ready to go out the front door.  Well, that's what my parents thought. But my friends, who did the same thing, thought it was completely normal. Those friends and my new friends would love StyleUnited. Not that long ago, I'd go clothes and shoe shopping with my friends. We'd show off our outfits before going out to get last minute advice and even helped put on each other's makeup and do our hair. I miss out on that … [Read more...]

My Aching Feet

I am not that much into fashion, but I do love shoes. Since being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and then with Morton's Neuroma I can only wear certain types of shoes. No more heels, narrow toed shoes or shoes without a back, like flip flops. Because I live in Florida, sandals are the type of shoes that are comfortable to wear so that your feet are not closed up. It's so hard to find sandals with backs though. I just love sandals of all types and look everywhere for something that I can wear that doesn't look like I'm wearing old lady shoes. If I buy sandals with backs that I like, … [Read more...]

Just For Me

I'm taking some time to be selfish. I'm allowed to, after all this is my blog. I feel like saying, "na na na poo poo" and I just did! So here's why I'm being selfish. I want to win something. I want to get rid of my old, hanging on by it's last leg, I buy things for my daughters and not for myself purse and win a brand new giraffe print handbag and wallet. I'm entering this contest held by Lori over at All Chick Stuff. This is one of my new reads and it's fun. I'm not into fashion as I'm just not that type of woman. Give me some comfortable clothes and sneakers and I'm happy. I can't even … [Read more...]
