• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

Made And Stayed In America – Ramblers Way

    July 30th, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ramblers Way’s products are made in America. They have also stayed in America – specifically in downtown Kennebunk, Maine. Their commitment to helping America and small towns where factories have been closed down is evident because all of their products are made using only homegrown wool and other resources and all of their manufacturing is done on American soil.

There’s lots of American towns and cities that are suffering because of outsourcing – giving the work to other countries. It is inspiring to learn about a company that takes Made in America to heart. I read about how hard it is for farmers to continue their way of life. I’ve seen documentaries about how when a factory closes there’s a trickle down effect to the Mom and Pop stores, to other businesses, to the residents and to the local government. Everyone suffers. Knowing that Rambler’s Way seeks out these factories and helps stimulate the economy is refreshing.

The economy is extremely bad and unemployment is high now. I can only hope that other companies will follow Ramblers Way’s lead and boost small towns and allow that to trickle up to cities and states.

    July 12th, 2010

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of PAC-MAN, Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of mobile, iPhone and PC games for mass-market casual gamers, today announced the launch of PAC-Match Party on iPhone and iPod touch, and the iPad.

    How to Play

Swap adjacent game pieces to make matches of 3 items or more.

    Gifts:

    • PAC-MAN – Drag PAC-MAN to eat frightened ghosts.
    • Scramble – Mix up the tiles.
    • Eat Column – Eat up a column of tiles.
    • Eat Row – Eat up a row of tiles.
    • Eat Both – Eat up a column and row of tiles.
    • Cherry Bomb – Blow up all tiles of the same type. The fuse is lit, so use it fast!
    • PAC-Bomb – Blow up a 3×3 tile area.

    Using PAC-MAN

Drag PAC-MAN into the play area. Drop him on a tile. Then let go and watch him eat!

    Features:

    • Match 3 With A Retro Twist!
    • Addictive Gameplay!
    • Crazy Combos!
    • 30 Levels!
    • Exciting Power-ups!

My Review: This is not my regular PAC-MAN, but it’s fun and addictive. I liked seeing the old characters again but playing it in a new way. You try to match up three in the middle of the game while avoiding those nasty ghosts. Try to get the power-ups so you can move quicker, but find your balance. You may want to wait until the game gets more difficult to use them.

Buy It: PAC-Match Party App is available for $1.99

Sweepstakes: Win a PAC-MAN themed smart car! Open to 18 years of age and live in the U.S. and Canada.

Disclosure: I received this review as a member of the Game Review Network.
