Made And Stayed In America – Ramblers Way
July 30th, 2010This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Ramblers Way. All opinions are 100% mine.
Ramblers Way’s products are made in America. They have also stayed in America – specifically in downtown Kennebunk, Maine. Their commitment to helping America and small towns where factories have been closed down is evident because all of their products are made using only homegrown wool and other resources and all of their manufacturing is done on American soil.
There’s lots of American towns and cities that are suffering because of outsourcing – giving the work to other countries. It is inspiring to learn about a company that takes Made in America to heart. I read about how hard it is for farmers to continue their way of life. I’ve seen documentaries about how when a factory closes there’s a trickle down effect to the Mom and Pop stores, to other businesses, to the residents and to the local government. Everyone suffers. Knowing that Rambler’s Way seeks out these factories and helps stimulate the economy is refreshing.
The economy is extremely bad and unemployment is high now. I can only hope that other companies will follow Ramblers Way’s lead and boost small towns and allow that to trickle up to cities and states.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.
