• About

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.

Kissimmee Here I Come – Again!

    August 16th, 2010

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

As many of you know, my family and I visit Kissimmee, Florida frequently. We spend most of our time at Disney World, but also trek about to visit other theme parks, eat at fun and delicious restaurants and go shopping. We’ll be spending a weekend at Kissimmee for Labor Day weekend and have a bunch of exciting things planned this time around.

We’ll arrive Friday night and probably have dinner at AppleBees, which is a place that both my husband and I enjoy as well as our 11 year old daughter. Although we’ll be staying at Walt Disney World (at Old Key West Resort), we are going to visit Universal Studios to see the Wizarding World of Harry Potter all day Saturday. This has been my daughter’s dream since the park opened.

I’m not sure where we’ll eat lunch, but I know we’ll go to City Walk for dinner. We’ll choose between the Nascar Sports Grille or the Hard Rock Cafe. Two restaurants that have fun themes and delicious food. I bet that our daughter will be asleep in the van on the way back to the hotel!

Since we’ll only be spending part of the day in Kissimmee on Sunday, we’ll have to fit in some shopping of course, at the Orlando Premium Outlets. We plan our trips to Kissimmee, but if the weather changes or we change our minds, there’s always lots of things to do as a family. No need to worry about being bored!

When you plan your trip, be sure to visit Kissimmee, The Heart of Florida website at http://bit.ly/dlBGMu.

Wordless Wednesday – A View Of The Carnival Legend

    July 28th, 2010

Wordless Wednesday – our view of the Carnival Legend from the Isle of Routan

    Connie’s Cruising

    July 23rd, 2010

I really thought that I’d be writing a few posts while I’m on the Carnival Legend cruise. Instead, I’m relaxing, having amazing conversations with my mother and my daughter, Sammi and just having fun.  When you go
on a cruise, it’s easy to let go and feel like you’re away from it all, even the things you love. Blogging is something I love, but it’s been put on the back burner for this week. I’ve been taking a few photos but not as many as I’d like.

The rocking of the ship (we only had a few hours of real movement when the wind was strong), the friendliness of the staff and the other cruisers, the food (the quality and the choices) and the feeling of being away from it all, creates the most relaxing vacation I’ve ever had.

Excuse me, my readers, for the lack of posts. I fully believe that this cruise vacation will give me the break that I need to be a better blogger.

I’ll be writing about my cruise and giving you some tips when I return home. I’ll also be back to my product reviews and giveaways.
