Conference Bound & Armed with CuVerro Antimicrobial Copper

Ben and I are a few days away from heading out of town for a big conference, so I should be spending my time preparing for our trip. Instead, I'm nursing a household of sick patients again. Ben and Aubrey both have a stomach virus, and Ellie has a viral upper respiratory infection. Oh, the joys of exposure to the public school system. It seems like everyone I talk to right now is either battling something or just getting over something. Our 2 local hospitals are on flu protocol limiting visitors, and doctors' offices are full. And over here you have my kid, the threenager who decided to … [Read more...]

How to Protect Your Family from Mosquitoes with Thermacell Products

Mosquitoes are a major nuisance for us during the Summer months. In the "Golden Corner" of Upstate, SC, we are surrounded by lakes, rivers, and creeks, so mosquito breeding grounds are plentiful. Family Trip to Marietta Square, Georgia

Recently we took a family trip to Marietta Square, Georgia. It's about 20 miles from downtown Atlanta. You can spend a few hours to a full day here, sight-seeing, shopping and eating. The center of the square is Glover Park, where you can people watch and let the kids run off some steam. The park is home to a lovely fountain which makes the perfect photo op. We sat for a while, took some photos and watched my young cousins … [Read more...]
