Save Money Shopping Online

I love to shop online. It saves me time and energy which a lot of the time I don't have much of. When I can find a way to save money on some of the largest retailers online, I'm hooked. I've often researched online coupon sources but they are either not updated or you need to fill out info with your email so you get spammed to death after. This coupon site is simple to use and I've found a lot of bargains in a short time browsing there. One of my favorite places to shop is Old Navy. Finding Old Navy coupon codes makes me want to buy more and more often. Hubby often asks me to purchase … [Read more...]

Swallowing and Vitamins

With Sjogren's Syndrome I often have not only a dry mouth but a dry throat. I can drink water until I'm floating but it doesn't moisten me. This causes problems with swallowing. I stay away from dry food items like pretzels and chips. But sometimes even swallowing food with sips of water can be difficult. If I'm having a flare of the Myasthenia Gravis my swallowing ability is even hindered more. One of the things I have the most difficulty swallowing is vitamin supplements. In Florida this program is excellent and we wouldn't have known about it except by reading the financial section of our newspaper. You see the year we signed up for it was the year they were making major changes to it. The year that you'd need to pay a lot more money if you signed up later on. Knowing about saving and making money is so important to growing families, especially middle class families. I'd love to be able to attend The Weath Expo sponsored by … [Read more...]

Hubby’s Other Room

Hubby smokes - a lot. But he doesn't smoke in our home. He stays in the garage with all of our clutter and smokes, takes a break from me and Peanut, from doing chores and watches some TV (it's on top of the fridge) or listens to the radio. Always sports, all the time. When guests visit who smoke they stay with Hubby in the garage. I'm totally embarrassed about what it looks like. There's so much clutter it looks like a tornado hit it and dropped all of the stuff it was carrying all over our room. He also leaves the garage door open so that our entire neighborhood can see the mess and … [Read more...]

Black Friday

The day after Thanksgiving aka Black Friday is the day we start to decorate our house for Christmas. I'm usually exhausted from the eating too much, doing too much or worrying too much (about the dinner that's supposed to be perfect and if my guests really enjoyed themselves). So I never get out shopping to get those great bargains. You know the ones that people wait in line for at 4 AM. The ones where you hear that the large screen tv's that were only $100 ran out in 5 minutes. The ones that your friends all brag about. Yes those sales. Never done it but always wanted to. If I could only … [Read more...]
