Basa Body Products Help Kenyan Women

When you combine awesome products that help people make a way out of poverty, you have a win-win situation. Mom-It-Forward is working on a new project to raise $50,000 for the Yehu Microfinace Bank to help impoverished mothers in Kenya. One of the ways to raise funds is by partnering with Basa Products. I received the Kiss Me Gift Pack and I am thrilled with it! It is beautifully packaged with a ribbon but the lovely smell made me tear it open right away. When I saw the soaps and smelled them (Mint Chocolate and Cherry Chocolate Truffle Soaps) I was upset at first because I'm allergic to … [Read more...]

Jump Rope For Heart

Can you help? My daughter Peanut is taking part in the American Heart Association Jump Rope for Heart at her school. She does this every year in memory of her grandfather that she never met, who died from heart disease before she was born and in memory of her uncle who died also. Her goal is $400. She set it high but that's what she wants to raise. I'm asking if you can help out. In order to donate online, the minimum payment is $25, but if you'd like to donate less by PayPal, I promise that the money will go directly this fund. I plan on catching up with all of the information later so I can really digest … [Read more...]

She really enjoyed reading about the adventures Sam, Big B and Nalu had. She learned about different healthy foods that she has never eaten before, words from Spanish and Polynesian languages, science topics, like bacteria and the weather. She also liked the … [Read more...]

Toys For Tots Needs Help

I'm sure you've heard about the organization Toys for Tots. There's probably drop boxes for toys in your neighborhood. They've probably been featured in your local newspaper, on your local news and online. This year with the economy being so bad, there are many parents seeking help from Toys for Tots but the donations are not keeping up with the demand. We can make a difference! Bloggers, especially Mom Bloggers can help get the word out. Write a post about this issue, Stumble my post, Digg it, share it, and most importantly make a donation of a toy.
