Get Out Of House Free Card
November 7th, 2008I’m free! My doctor gave me a Get of the House Free card today. So finally I was able to go out without fear of getting sicker. I did get my flu shot and was told that the fatigue is normal because it takes me longer to get well after any type of sickness. I’ve heard this about a million times, so you think I’d finally get it. But, being me, I have to try to push myself and fall asleep at the wheel one hundred and ten times, then hear the doctor tell me that.
I did do my mini celebration after my appointment. I decided to treat myself to a sandwich at Subway and then I went shopping at Walmart. I did a lot of shopping, too much shopping. Pushing the cart and walking so much wore me out. I really needed a pair of Dansko shoes I should have used one of the scooters at the store.
After all of this, I still had to pick up Peanut from school and then go to my Mom’s house to help her with her new cell phone. By the time I came home, I ended up falling asleep for two hours. I’m still exhausted. When will I learn?
But all in all, it was great getting out the house finally.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.
