Back To School With Mission Foods
August 27th, 2010This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Mission Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.
This school year, my daughter is starting school later which gives us time for a fulling and healthy breakfast each day. She can’t eat snacks in her classes so she’s starving by the time she gets home too. When it comes to feeding my daughter, who’s on the very thin side, I’ll do anything.
With Mission Meals Tortillas it’s easy to make quick yet delicious meals and snacks that she’ll eat up in a flash! They also look different than the ordinary food I cook for her which makes her more interested in finding out what’s on her plate. I found a recipe for a Sunrise Breakfast Burrito that includes scrambled eggs, bacon and cheese. It not only looks good, it tastes delicious. It’s a meal in one with a glass of juice of some cut up fruit on the side.
Since this has been a success, I’m on the Mission – Back To School project. I try to change up foods normally made with bread with Mission Tortillas.
Mission Flour Tortillas:
- Are inexpensive
- Are great to keep on hand in the kitchen
- Contain 0 grams Trans fat per serving and are cholesterol free
- Are available in small (6″), medium (8″) and large (10”) sizes
- Are available in flour, multi-grain, wheat, corn and other varieties
- Make meals “cool” according to my daughter
Mission Tortillas make back to school time easier for planning healthy and unique breakfasts, lunches and snacks.

I’m a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family.
