How to Protect Your Family from Mosquitoes with Thermacell Products

Mosquitoes are a major nuisance for us during the Summer months. In the "Golden Corner" of Upstate, SC, we are surrounded by lakes, rivers, and creeks, so mosquito breeding grounds are plentiful. I live in a really beautiful rural area on an old family farm with acres of pasture, woods, and a creek running through the property. When the mosquitoes come out to play, they often become so unbearable they chase us back indoors in the evenings. We work hard to keep the little pests from ruining our fun. On a typical Summer evening you will usually find us surrounded by citronella candles and … [Read more...]

When my Anxiety Makes Me Feel Like I’m a Bad Mom

My life over the last week has been very befitting of my blog title. I feel like I'm living in a constant brain fog that I just can't seem to break free from at the moment. I haven't been able to concentrate on much of anything lately, my anxiety has been brewing up a nasty storm inside me, and my list of things I had planned for the girls and I went straight out the window. Now, I'm super excited to introduce the Limited Edition Delmar Drift series. As a thank you to JORD’s Delmar fans, they have released a much … [Read more...]

We're making the most of our Easter and Spring Break family time, so our days have been pretty jam packed. Saturday we had an Easter eve dinner with the in-laws, and the girls had a nice little indoor egg hunt since it was raining. Easter came with more rain, so we had our usual lunch with my mom's family, another indoor egg hunt, and dinner with my Dad and sister's family. We were … [Read more...]
