Join Me As I #PrayForTownville

Today has been very emotional. When I tucked my 7 year old into bed tonight I held her a little tighter for a little longer and said an extra prayer for her safety. I have shed many tears today over a situation that didn't involve my children, but it hit really close to home. The Wrath of Kindergarten Germs

Have you ever felt like your family was being taken over by germs? That's exactly how I've felt the last few months, and I'm so ready to be rid of all these Kindergarten germs. My 6 year old, Ellie, has been sick the whole school year. She came down with a cold a few days after she started Kindergarten, and the non-stop cycle has continued for months. Still, I feel like I could be doing more to support the school financially. Many schools across our nation are on tight budgets that are stretched extremely thin. The education of our children... our future doctors, lawyers, business owners, and leaders, … [Read more...]

Soon our children will come home with fundraising material in their book bags ready to sell. I fully support school fundraisers because our schools need all the funds they can get. Public schools across the nation are cutting programs that enrich our children's lives and educational experiences … [Read more...]

Personalized Back to School Gifts from I See Me! & the Ultimate Back to School

I received free product to facilitate this post. August is here, and Back to School time is officially in swing. This school year is extra special for us because I'm sending my oldest off to Kindergarten. She's a bit apprehensive about going to school everyday and leaving Mommy and Sissy behind, so I want to get her excited for this next phase of her life. I can't think of a better way to excite her and send her on the path to learning than with a personalized gift to commemorate the beginning of her school career. I'm a big fan of personalized books, and I'm excited to introduce … [Read more...]
