Mouse-Aid – Nonprofit of the Month

Mouse-Aid is a nonprofit that offers information for people with medical and mental health problems about visiting Disney World. They also provide financial aid when available, which comes from their sponsors. In order to be eligible for financial assistance, you cannot be eligible for other programs, such as Make A Wish or Dream Foundation. Disney World Trip With Special Needs Daughter

We spent 6 days at Disney World. Not new to us, as we are frequent Disney visitors; however, it's new to us that our daughter has serious medical issues and is considered a special needs child. We have traveled to Disney when she was diagnosed with some medical conditions, but things have gotten worse since then. Visiting Disney World….Again

We're visiting Disney World again. I don't mean to say this to brag, but we live just about 90 minutes away, are Disney freaks and are Disney Vacation Members. Please don't hate me! I can tell you that it's really, horribly hot and I probably won't be able to visit the parks during the day. I'm still going through a big Myasthenia Gravis flare up. I hope to get out during the evening though. We have dinner reservations that I'm looking forward to - Via Napoli in EPCOT, the 50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios and Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom.
