I’m Connie Roberts, a wife and mom of two daughters. My daughters are 12 years apart so that keeps me quite busy and a little crazy at times. My life is a jumble of mixed up mishaps, but it’s always centered around my family. My husband is retired military and works as a mail carrier. He’s a man of few words, but is loving and very caring. My younger daughter is 14, in middle school, keeps me laughing and amazed with her bravery as she copes with medical issues. My older daughter is a Librarian, married, and expecting her first baby, is a Librarian. My son-in-law calls me Mom and is a good husband and son. They both live in Kansas. My mother lives close by and has a special place in my family.
I’m a Disney Fanatic, who visits Disney World often and writes about many things related to Disney. I enjoy reading, keeping up with current events and traveling. My dream life is to live in an RV and travel throughout the United States (with side trips to other countries and cruises off course).
I’m an advocate for children, special education, people with health problems, women and social causes that I feel are important. If you read posts that you may consider rants, they are there to inform you about real life and inequality. I try my best to write when something has been rectified and how it’s been done so you, or someone you know, will have that information. You’ll also find posts about people and organizations who are working to make things better.
The name of my blog, Brain Foggles, relates to the “brain fog” or problems I have with my memory and concentration. It’s a part of my life as are the multiple chronic illnesses I have. Living with them and working around them is what I do best and intend to keep doing. I also use Brain Foggles as a term associated with being a multitasking mom, blogger and Social Media enthusiast.
You’ll find a part of me here in every post. Blogging is something that’s made me a more confident and self-aware person. So laugh, reminisce, learn, and keep in touch with me in my small part of the blogosphere.
