Easy Valentine Ceramic Ring Bowl Craft

Valentine’s Day is officially 1 week away today. I let the kids decorate our “school room” a few weeks ago, and today we started Valentine-themed crafts. I had plans to have the girls make Valentine gift baskets for their aunts and grandmas, but sickness has put us behind on that. None of us have felt very well the last few weeks. Luckily, we have managed to stay away from the dreaded flu germs, but stomach bugs have kept us down. So, instead of baskets, we decided to make everyone a small gift.

Today we worked on ceramic ring bowls, and y’all, these Valentine ceramic ring bowls turned out so cute!

They are a super simple Valentine craft for kids of all ages. All you need are mini ceramic heart bowls like these adorable mini heart bowls I found on Oriental Trading.

You can embellish them with anything you choose. The girls wanted to leave the bowls white, so we didn’t paint them, but you can easily paint the ring bowls with acrylic paint. We chose to embellish our ring bowls with vinyl monogram stickers and mini hearts I cut with my vinyl cutter.

And that’s it. These Valentine ring bowls are that simple to make! Mini ceramic bowls are also great way to add a little custom decor to your entryway table to catch keys or change. I use one in the bathroom to hold bobby pins. There are so many possibilities and various mini bowl shapes available.

How do you feel about mini ceramic bowls? Where would you use them in your home or gift them?
