I’ve Got a Bone to Pick With Mother Nature

One of my 2018 goals is to get back on track with blogging. So far, my year hasn’t gotten off to a great start. Last week I sat down with my handy dandy notebook because I’m old school like that and have to write everything on paper first, and I planned out a month’s worth of content I want to share. You know, doing things right and all that.

Y’all, there’s always something getting in the way of my plans. Yes, I did just pull out my Southern roots, but I’m ready to get real with Mother Nature. And when I get real, the twang is strong. This flip-flopping weather, arctic to fall-like temps and back to arctic again…it’s got to stop.  One of the biggest migraine triggers for me is weather…particularly changes in weather like major temperature shifts and barometric pressure shifts. Apparently, my head really really hates this hormonal imbalance Mother Nature is going through. 2018 has been a very long seemingly never-ending migraine battle for me, and I’m about done with it.

My posting schedule, I’ve had to put it on pause for the time being. And that really sucks because I’ve got some things I really wanted to share with you guys.

I’m doing well enough to keep the kids alive and fed and the homeschooling game strong (thank goodness for documentaries and internet-based curriculum) from the comfort of my bed with my head buried under my pillow more days than not. On the days that I don’t feel like my head is going to explode I’m busy catching up on product orders so my business is still running strong.

So, Mother Nature, can you please make up your mind? ONE good week without these migraines…maybe two if I’m really pushing my luck, is all I need to get things back in order.
