Back to School with Master Lock Review and #Giveaway

Back to school time have arrived! You may even have school supply lists already in hand. I have two great Master Lock products to share with you today that are great additions to those teen and tween back to school lists. I also have one Master Lock product to giveaway to one lucky reader!

Are you ready to go Back to School with Master Lock?

Is a locker padlock on your back to school shopping list? As a teen I loathed balancing an armload of books and binders between classes while I clumsily fumbled with the combination on my locker padlock. Some days I would get so aggravated I would leave my locker unlocked hoping no one would notice. Today, there is a much better solution that will save your student both time and frustration.

Meet the Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock.

Back to School with Master Lock Bluetooth Indoor Padlock

With so many schools allowing cell phones today, the Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock is the perfect solution. This padlock is designed with a compact footprint to fit most lockers, and that’s only the beginning of a great list of features. The Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock works through a free app (Android and iPhone) to unlock the padlock without a combination.

What if your child accidentally leaves their phone at home or has to leave the phone in their locker? The padlock can also be unlocked quickly from the directional pad that is much simpler than a combination lock. There is even a “locker mode” that is specifically designed to keep the Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock in a locked state with the phone inside the locker.

Is it secure?

Not only is the lock secure, but the free app provides an access history log and tamper alerts. The anti-shim padlock also features a hardened boron alloy shackle for superior cut resistance.

The Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock is great to use around the house, too. I have one installed on the closet I use to hide presents,. Therefore, the kiddos have no way of snooping before holidays. It is super easy to unlock the padlock from my Droid Turbo 2. I have found it is much quicker to grab my phone and hit a button than to fool with a combination.

The Master Lock Indoor Bluetooth Smart Padlock has an MSRP of $70, but it is currently available on Amazon for $51.30 (affiliate) with Prime eligibility.

You can find info on the Master Lock Bluetooth Smart Padlock line via masterlockbluetoothsmart.com.

The Cycling Student

Does your teen bike to school?

back to school with master lock speed dial cable

No one wants to replace an expensive bike because it was stolen, and the Master Lock Speed Dial Cable provides security and peace of mind. The 6 ft braided steel cable resists cutting and sawing in addition to a protective vinyl coating for added weather protection and scratch resistance. The speed dial opens the lock on directional movements rather than a combination dial.

Also, the speed dial cable can pull double duty for band or orchestra instruments. In my high school days, we had to store our stringed instruments in a common area in the school auditorium which led to some instruments being stolen. Due to the thefts I started using a bicycle cable lock wrapped around the case of my violin and fed through the handle to secure it from unauthorized entry. I never worried about someone stealing my violin from its case again!

The Master Lock Speed Dial Cable is also great for securing things outdoors at home. We use them to secure some of my husband’s ladders and table saw that he stores on the back porch and the girls’ Ride On toys. The Master Lock Speed Dial Cable retails for $25.31 (US only).

Break out those back to school supply lists, and don’t forget to head back to school with Master Lock for peace of mind this year!
