Men Can Feel Pampered, Too, With MenEssentials #sponsored

I received free products from to facilitate this review.

As a busy mom I sometimes find the need to take a break from life in general and carve out a little “me time” to pamper myself. But, what about my husband? He works long hours at a very labor intensive job to provide for our family, and I feel like he deserves to pamper himself, too. He’s a bearded guy who isn’t into the spa thing, so what could I get him that would possibly provide some pampering?, a men’s grooming essential store is dedicated to making men “look and feel awesome”. MenEssentials features high end products for shaving, beard care, skin and hair care. They even carry leather goods, gift sets, and fragrance sets.

My husband, Ben, started using the Bluebeards Original Beard Wash instead of shampoo in his morning shower followed by the Wonder Beard Intensive Repair conditioner. Ben has always experienced dandruff flakes and itching in his beard, so he was excited to give both products a try. After a week we could already see a great improvement. His beard hair is soft, and his skin is smooth. The flaking has been greatly reduced although it isn’t completely gone yet. Both products have a lime scent that is pleasant without overpowering and works great for men.

Ben isn’t a fan of beard oils, so it took a little convincing to get him to try Fisticuff’s Grave Before Shave Bay Rum Beard Oil. He complained that all of the beard oils he’s tried have left his beard and mustache feeling greasy, but I do believe he is a beard oil convert. The Grave Before Shave Bay Rum Beard Oil is made from natural ingredients that nourish and condition the beard while protecting and softening the skin. The oil can be used to prevent dandruff and flaking, and that’s what convinced him to give it a try.

The Grave Before Shave Beard Oils don’t leave his beard feeling greasy at all, and after almost 2 weeks of use his beard feels so much different. The skin is smooth, his facial hair is super soft, and that’s something I can definitely appreciate! There is nothing worse than going in for a kiss and getting scratched with rough beard hair! Plus, his beard smells super awesome. The Bay Rum scent is musky but sweet with a hint of coconut.

If you’re a man looking to add some pampering to your shaving and grooming routine or someone looking for a great gift for a man in your life definitely check out MenEssentials for these great products and more. MenEssentials will definitely have an order from me the next time I need a great “manly” gift.
