Curious George Returns June 23 in Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle

I received a free copy of Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle for review purposes.

Curious George and The Man In The Yellow Hat have both been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Many of the Curious George books lived amid my bookshelves as a child, and I have fond memories of turning on the TV and seeing that adorable monkey running about. Curious George remains a huge part of my life today as he has become one of my childrens’ favorite characters.

Curious George is back with a new movie, Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle! Everyone’s favorite monkey and his new movie will be arriving on DVD and Digital HD on June 23 from Universal 1440 Entertainment. We had the pleasure of watching Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle this weekend, and our whole family loved it!

Curious George 3 DVD

About the movie:

When Curious George is asked to take part in a very important space mission, a little monkeying around forces him to crash-land in Africa. While a worried Man with the Yellow Hat searches for him, Curious George bravely explores the jungle and makes new animal friends along the way. Reunited at last, the two best pals have an unforgettable adventure shared with their new friends! Featuring the voice talents of Angela Bassett & John Goodman, with music by the Plain White T’s, join Curious George on his fun-filled journey that the whole family will enjoy!

It is really hard to get my 5 year old to sit still long enough to watch a full movie, but she loves Curious George. Both of my girls curled up on the couch with us, and our family made it through the whole movie without either of them losing interest. The only sounds I heard the whole time were sounds of laughter and excitement!

My girls loved watching George travel into outer space!  My 5 year old was full of questions about astronauts, and the movie opened up a discussion about space travel.

The DVD includes a bonus feature with Sing-Along songs from the movie. My girls have asked for the Sing-Along of “Welcome to Paradise” so many times I’ve had the song stuck in my head all day! That’s okay because it’s performed by the Plain White T’s, and the song hasn’t gotten old even after hearing it over and over.

The soundtrack will also be available on June 23rd, and we’ll definitely be grabbing a copy to continue popping to all the cute music from Curious George 3 in the car. You can join in the Sing-Along fun now with the “Ordinary Superman” Sing-Along bonus clip.

The Curious George fun doesn’t have to end there! Now you can let Curious George join your selfie or photobomb a friend with the all new FREE photo App, SuperPhotobomb!. You can find the app on

Check out a preview of the Curious George movie below, and get ready to pick up your own copy on June 23rd!
