This is a sponsored PSA on behalf of Scotties.
I love cats, and if it were possible I would adopt every single stray or homeless cat I see. Sadly, every time I walk into the animal shelter I fall in love with all of those beautiful little faces knowing I can’t take them all home with me. I wish I could find a loving home for each and every homeless cat or kitten out there. That’s why I’m so happy to hear about a company I already love on a mission to help find homes for cats and kittens that need a forever home.
June is National Cat Adoption Month
Scotties Facial Tissues Scotties Facial Tissues is doing their part to help cats and kittens find loving homes by sponsoring select adoptions at three rescue organizations on the east coast. The “Bring Home A Box Of Softness” Campaign runs for the entire month of June and will provide each of the following rescue organizations with $15,000 to use towards placing cats and kittens into homes.
- The SPCA of Wake County in North Carolina (June 21-30th)
- The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Massachusetts (June 13th only!)
- The Humane Society of Tampa Bay in Florida (All month long)
“There is so much good that we hope to do in 2015 for cats and kittens in need of a good home whether it’s inviting a new kitten into a forever home or bringing home a box of tissues to a sick child – these are the moments of softness and compassion that should be praised and supported.” -John Robertson, Scotties Marking Director
Each organization is receiving $5,000 to support the cause of re-homing cats and kittens. Initiated by the tissue company in 2014, this ongoing effort to increase the number cats and kittens going to good homes has been a key focus for the brand. All adopted cats and kittens are spayed / neutered and are up to date on all shots and vaccinations.
How Can You Help?
If you are looking to add a new feline friend to your family visit one of the organizations listed above on the included dates to participate in the Scotties Bring Home A Box Of Softness campaign. If you don’t live near one of these organizations you can still rescue a cat or kitten in need through a local rescue or shelter.
