Adventure Travel: Destination Unknown

This post is sponsored by Heineken®.

Are you into adventure travel? Heineken® is giving people the chance to take part in their campaign “Voyage”, where people are dropped into an unknown destination. I couldn’t even imagine doing something like this, but I guess there are much more adventurous people than me.

I’m a planner. I need to know my destination, my route, the place I’ll stay and other details. Boring, right? But imagine being chosen to go somewhere with just the basic necessities. You may go by helicopter or motorcycle. Your whole world is turned upside down (completely different culture, food, customs, etc.). You get to test your limits and deal with the outcome. You document your adventure with videos to share with the world. Risky business for sure, but fun for us at home to follow along.

Adventure travel - Heineken

The goal of their adventure travel is to be inventive when they face challenges, take in every moment and then make it home. It’s a journey of a lifetime. The series of videos, Heineken® Dropped YouTube channel. follow the chosen men and their exploits. And they bring adventure travel to the extreme. One of my favorite guys is Clint from South Africa who travels to Poland. He’s one fun guy, smiling, joking and totally into getting the most out of his trip.

Take a peek at how he made it to Poland:

Would you be willing to take part in this type of adventure travel?
