Disney Channels’ Teen Beach Movie: Party Ideas

It’s party time! Disney Channel’s Teen Beach Movie premiers on July 19th. Invite friends and family for a movie night party. A movie based on the beach makes it easy to set up a get-together that will have kids and adults celebrating. I had the chance to hold a beach movie party with a party pack supplied by the Disney Channel and Child’s Play.

Here are some party ideas:

An Outdoor Movie Night – Best if done near a pool or beach. Inflatable movie screens are not that expensive any more, plus you’ll use them again. Or, you make your own movie screen! Add S’mores, roasted marshmallows and snow cones.

Nostalgic Movie Night – Use an old popcorn machine and bags, serve corndogs and retro candy. For drinks, find older bottled sodas. One person can dress up as a movie usher and add an old time movie projector.

Luau Movie Night – Aloha! Get those grass skirts, leis and ukuleles out. Don’t forget to add umbrellas to your drinks and do the hula. Fruit salad, pineapple drinks and egg rolls.

Teen Beach Movie Night – You can find printables including games, posters and recipes from the Teen Beach Movie Party Kit. This will give you plenty of ideas for your party.

Teen Beach Movie Dress Up

Our beach themed movie party was a blast! We watched Camp Rock  and had lots of decorations. We had to hold in indoors because it rained, but that didn’t ruin our fun. My 14 year old daughter, I and my husband attended. We considered this practice for my daughter’s Teen Beach Movie party.

Don’t forget to tune into the Disney Channel on July 19th at 8:00 PM (ET/PT) for the premier! Check out the Teen Beach Movie site follow @DisneyChannelPR on Twitter and Instagram, and TeenBeachMovie on Pinterest using #TeenBeachMovie.to learn more about the movie and the cast.
