Get Organized with Blackberry Z10

As a busy mom and blogger, I need to be able to plan ahead and be reminded of events. It’s easy to get organized with the Blackberry Z10. I haven’t had to buy apps for this purpose, just use the built-in apps.

As a Verizon Wireless Ambassador, I’m reviewing the Blackberry Z10. One of the features that stand out for me is the ability to keep track of all of the happenings in all of my calendars in one place. Yes, I have several calendars – one online, one on my fridge and one that I keep in my purse. They all serve a purpose. My Google calendar is for my online events, such as Twitter Parties, G+ Hangouts, blog post end dates, and more. The fridge calendar lists all of my family appointments. My small pocket calendar is where I write down appointments on the go.

On the Blackberry Z10, I use both the Calendar and Remember apps. Both are easily customizable. I synced my Google Calendar so events are already added. To make it easier for me, I can change colors for different types of tasks, send emails to participants and set up reminders. The Remember App is for much more than events. I can add my list of groceries, blog posts, information I need to gather for a project, doctor appointments, etc. All go into separate folders and when complete, are deleted. This app also allows for reminders.

I have started to combine all of my calendars into one. Next, I will break down tasks on the Remember app so it doesn’t seem overwhelming. Both apps and notifications keep my oftentimes overwhelming life much more manageable.

I am a Verizon Wireless Ambassador and am reviewing the Blackberry Z10 for a few months. All opinions are my own, as always.
