Decorating Easter Eggs with Paas | Donate to Make A Wish

Our family tradition of decorating Easter eggs with Paas is one that has been around for as long as I remember. And each year, Paas comes up with new decorating kits to keep it exciting. This year there are 7 new kits.

We always use Heinz vinegar while boiling eggs to keep the eggs from cracking and to make the most vibrant colors possible. This year, we’re trying out three new kits. What a treat!

Either download the Easter egg iTunes app or use the desktop app to create decorated eggs. Then send to family/friends. For each shared egg, Heinz and Paas will donate $1 to Make-A-Wish up to $25,000.

Use food grade pens, stencils to decorate eggs with Easter themes. Using the stencils took a steady hand. Since eggs aren’t flat, I had to be sure I didn’t go over the lines.

Paas Touch of Velvet

This was a lot of fun! Use the stickers provided to scratch on a sticky substance in all sorts of shapes. Sprinkle on the powder to adhere. You’ll get soft-to-the touch decorated eggs. I learned that you have to really have to press on those stickers. Having finger nails makes the job easier. The excess powder easily wipes off. Decorating Easter eggs has come a long way!

Shave the provided waxy crayons to sprinkle melted crayons on still hot boiled eggs. This was the tricky kit for me. The shaver wasn’t very sharp and the end product looked nothing like the eggs on the cover. My daughter thought it was the best egg though. So what do I know!
