If you live in the Central Florida area and love to cook or want to hone your cooking skills there is a great opportunity coming up for you. Michael Angelo’s and Publix have teamed up to offer the Publix Apron’s Cooking School classes featuring Michael Angelo’s founder, Michael Angelo Renna, and his mom, Sara.
Michael Angelo’s was founded in 1982 by a third-generation Italian-American family who believe in preparing high quality frozen gourmet Italian meals comprised of simple yet flavorful ingredients. The gourmet frozen meals created by Michael Angelo Renna and Michael Angelo’s are inspired by authentic homemade meals from his mom, Sara Agnello. The frozen meal line includes a variety of both single serve and family serve lasagnas, calzones, pasta dishes, and Italian favorites. The meals are sold in grocery, natural food, and club stores nationwide, and the brand is shipped to stores within 36 hours allowing the meals to arrive with a freshness unknown to most frozen foods. There are two opportunities to join the Publix Apron’s Cooking School class where Michael and Sara will be creating a full Italian holiday meal which includes an appetizer, pasta dish, meat dish, and dessert dish. The Cooking School provides the opportunity to spend an evening having fun and sampling foods while learning new cooking techniques. If you’re in the Tampa area you can sign up for the Tampa Publix Apron’s Cooking class on Thursday, October 18.
