Craving learning is one of the most important things that keeps me alive. I used to want to attend classes for fun after I graduated college, but I grasped that there are so many ways to learn, to keep me curious around me that the need for a classic education isn’t necessary.
“There is no end to education. It is not that you read a book, pass an examination, and finish with education. The whole of life, from the moment you are born to the moment you die, is a process of learning.” – Jiddu Krishnamurti
I learn from my children. Through my pregnancies, my ever changing body and my baby growing inside me taught me about biology. It gave me time to learn about myself and how I was changing as a person. When my daughters were born, each one taught me about unconditional love and about maternal instincts. Each child helps me to understand about my character traits I had or needed to better – patience, forgiveness, maturity (with my older daughter), being responsible, etc.
“Change is the end result of all true learning.” – Leo Buscaglia
I learn from traveling. I realize that I’m fearless because the health conditions I have that should prevent me from traveling, but don’t. By educating myself about my rights and the places I visit in advance, I can do almost anything I choose to. I discover that I am open-minded by eating in local restaurants, talking to the local people and learning about their cultures.
“What is important is to keep learning, to enjoy challenge, and to tolerate ambiguity. In the end there are no certain answers.” – Martina Horner, President of Radcliffe College
I learn something new every day from being online. Meeting and connecting with new people (other bloggers and people on social media spaces) treats me to new ways of thinking about issues. I grow my knowledge about everything from writing to coding. Blogging has opened a lot of new doors to me. I’ve been able to travel, attend conferences and to gain a platform to share my wisdom. Most importantly, blogging has made me a more confident.
I will continue to keep learning in every aspect of my life. It’s a joy!

Well, with degrees in education, I must agree. We must continue to learn even as adults. I may have graduated from college in May but I feel like I have gained even more knowledge about the real world since then.
