Heelys Hipster Review

Heelys are a fun way to get around and they’re not just for kids anymore. Now with styles for adults, these shoes feature a wheel on the heel of each shoe that allows you to zoom from place to place with no extra equipment.

I received a pair of Heelys in the Hipster style. Most of these shoes tend to be big and bulky in the skate shoe style, but this pair has a funky, unique look that really stands out. I tried to skate around the house using the included instructions, but it was a little too scary for a klutz like me. Luckily, it’s super easy to remove the wheel and wear them as everyday shoes.

You can purchase Heelys Hipsters through the Heelys Online Shop, search for the closest retailer on the Heelys site, or purchase them online from Amazon.com, Zappos.com, etc. The suggested retail price is $74.99.

Maybe children have more guts to learn how to skate with Heelys, or maybe adults need to learn from kids, but either way they say practice makes perfect. One day I may be showing off my Heelys skills.

    I am way too much of a klutz for Heelys! They are really cute, though! Much better than the bulky pairs I’ve seen in the past.
