Carbonite online backup came at just the right time for me. I signed up for a free trial and a few days later my laptop began an automatic backup (one that I had never done before). Luckily I had Carbonite already working, so I didn’t lose any of my photos, documents and data.
The automatic backup was giving me lots of problems. I had to insert either a USB drive or a CD because there was so much data on my laptop. But I kept getting error messages with both the USB and CDs. I learned that this was a common problem with my type of laptop, so I was singing the praises of Carbonite knowing that my data was safe.
Carbonite is easy to use. Just sign up and start backing up your data. After the initial backup is done, you can go into your settings and choose to backup files and folders continuously. This way you don’t need to remember anything. Your files are safe too since Carbonite uses state of the art transmission services, servers and data centers.
Another plus about Carbonite is that your data is saved in the cloud so you can access it from anywhere that’s connected to the internet, including your smart phone. Since I’ve been using this plan, it hasn’t slowed down my computer at all. It gives me peace of mind knowing that both my personal and blogging photos and information are safe. Choose from the Home and Home Office Plan, or the Small Business Plan that backs up 3 + computers.
Thanks to Carbonite, one of my readers can win a yearly plan for their Home and Home Office worth $59 by entering with the RaffleCopter form:
