Schools have been hit by budget cuts and the results run the gamut depending on the state and school district from repairs that can’t been made, to students are sharing textbooks to planners and art supplies and other materials normally provided to students missing this year. $25,000 can go very far for your school. When I think of Macy’s I think of fashionable, good quality clothing and big sale events. When I lived in the Bronx, we’d go out down to Manhattan to shop at Macy’s. Macy’s in known as the Great American Department Store because of the great selection, the famous brands and the unbeatable customer service. Of course, another reason I remember Macy’s is visiting Santa Claus and looking at the window displays at Christmas time. Even as a young adult, I’d make a yearly trip to be surprised by what the window displays.
Who hasn’t seen the the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the fireworks for the Fourth of July, and the commercials featuring their celebrity designers? When I shop at Macy’s it’s always magical. The store set-up, the decor, the Macy’s only merchandise is amazing.
