The case is bulky but when you realize the powerful sound quality that minor inconvenience is overlooked. After all, I haven’t been walking around with it. I’ve been using it in my car, at my desk or at my bedside. Inside the case, you’ll find the battery, which can hold a charge for up to 12 hours, plus 3 sets of foam to keep your iPhone, iPod or MP3 Player safely inside. The plastic shield on the other side allows me to not only view, but to easily use my iPhone.
The iMainGo X box includes a travel bag, wrist Strap, larger carry strap and 3 language instructions (English, French, Spanish). Is this a hint that I should bring this along when I travel? I say yes. Since the case is protected so well, I have no fear in doing so on my next trip. With the headphone jack (actually 2 jacks), I’m already planning for my daughter using this when she needs to take a nap but doesn’t want to. Play some relaxing music and Mom and Dad can have a longer night.
Watching and listening to music and other videos has been a pleasure on my iPhone now with the iMainGo X. Instead of hearing that tin can sound, it’s as if I’m listening to a Bose system. I promised to not leave out the mic jack, which I haven’t tried yet, but one day when the need for Karaoke overtakes me, it’s there for me.
