Mamavation Weight Loss Campaign Starts

The Mamavation new weight loss campaign starts again on January 17th. Two women, or Mamavation Moms will be chosen during a live Twitter Launch Party from 5 finalists.

How To Apply For the new Mamavation Weight Loss Campaign:

  1. Create a video application answering this question, “Why do you want to be the next Mamavation Mom AND what will YOU do to inspire other moms online?” The video must be under 4 minutes. Please upload  to YouTube and tag it “mamavation”.  Next, post the video in your blog with a description of this campaign.
  2. Show Leah Segedie @bookieboo that you are physically active and living healthy. Tweet to her and use the hashtag #mamavation.
  3. Prove that you have a support group. You’ll need them during the campaign. Ask your family, friends, co-workers, etc. to tweet this message for you – “Hey @bookieboo! I want (@insertyourIDhere) to be the next #Mamavation Mom. She has my support! http://bit.ly/aorv3Y” If you only use Facebook, ask them to post on the Mamavation Facebook Fan Page about why you’d be a great Mamavation Mom.
  4. Complete the application form.

mamavationWhat is Mamavation?

Mamavation helps two women, Momavation Moms, lose weight through support, teaching them about a healthy lifestyle, physical fitness and nutrition. The Mamavation Moms are online and share what they are going through during the campaign or boot camp. In addition to free professional support, there’s the support of the The Mamavation Sistahood. They help on Twitter by using the hashtag #Mamavation, by writing weekly blog posts and joining in the weekly Mamavation TV show.

Mamavation understands women who are overweight because it was founded by Leah Segedie, who lost 170 lbs. over two pregnancies. Leah is one of the support people for the campaign as well. She was overweight most of her life and understands the difficulties that come along with losing weight and making a lifestyle change.
