Random Acts Of Wellness – Answers To Flu Vaccine Questions

Along with my Random Acts of Wellness with Walgreens campaign, I wanted to provide answers to some flu vaccine questions. Since my focus is of the campaign is children with health conditions, I asked Tamara Walker, RN to create a video discussing the flu shot and why it is important for everyone who can to get the vaccine.

Tamara is a Registered Nurse and specialized in pediatrics before starting MomRN.com and the Ask MomRN Show. She has a blog, MomRN.com and a very informative radio show, Ask MomRN Show.

My favorite term from Tamara is the “immunity community” and that is what I’m striving for. Thank you Tamara for sharing your knowledge.

This is a great idea! We like the way you presented the info through the momrn nurse in video. And, the nurse did a great job encouraging folks to talk to their providers to see if the flu vaccine is right for them or their family members. My daughter had H1N1 last year and she was insisting we get vaccinated in early September. Flu is not fun, and prevention is always better than infection.
