It’s The Sinus Infection That Never Ends

I got diagnosed with a sinus infection last Friday and even with antibiotics it feels like it will never end. I had a reprise for about a day where I felt healthy enough to do some chores but that night I was back to feeling like my head was going to explode. I’ve had a fever on and off.  I’ve been coughing, sneezing and am weak and tired.

With all of this going on and being away at the Type-A Mom Conference my blogging has been off.  I’ve also been anti-social on my favorite social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. All in all, I’ve been spending time in bed, taking more medicines than normal including MUCINEX 12H 28 TAB, blowing my nose, eating cough drops like candy and trying to sleep without coughing.

Please understand if I haven’t commented on your blog, replied to the backlash over my and other bloggers’ posts sponsored posts about high fructose corn syrup, or taken part in your Twitter parties. Once this sinus infection is over and I’m caught up I’ll be my old wordy and social self again.

I’ve been there – I feel for you….I highly recommend a neti pot. It sounds gross, but I finely got desperate enough to use it….and now I wouldn’t NOT use it :)

I really feel for you. I swear I had one for nearly 30 days – I never really got over it and I was so miserable. The worst part is when it’s too tender to even touch your face :( Hope you feel better!

Yona, I’m doing so much better now. I still have a bit of a cough and some stuffiness. They are tough to get rid of.
