The Dove Movement for Self-Esteem is in full force again. Dove is providing resources through a special website to help girls, tweens, teens and women build up their confidence so they can accomplish our life goals. Dove wants you to join the movement to give girls the tools they need to feel good about the way they look, to inspire girls to work towards their dreams and to be confident.
One way to help is to answer the question, “What do you wish you’d known at 13?” Your answer will be posted on their website and can be shared through an email, on Twitter, on Facebook or on your own blog.
Take part in the Dove Self-Esteem Weekend on October 22 – 24. Take an hour, or more of your time and talk to a girl – your daughter or a girl you mentor. Do something fun with your daughter or a group of girls. Volunteer your time with a non-profit. Dove is partnering with the Girl Scouts, Boys and Girls Club of America and Girls Inc.
You can be an inspiration! Join the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem to stay updated, to share your message and to get guides for activities. This can be the start of something awesome for a girl and for you as well.
I’m proud to be chosen as a Champion of the Dove Movement for Self-Esteem. I’ll be receiving a gift for my participation. I believe strongly about self-esteem and girls though and am happy to share this information with my readers.
