What would you do with a million dollars? After receiving treatments from over 300 filmmakers, four short-films have made it to the final round of the Discover Card Film Challenge. The films range from funny, to inspirational to dramatic, and most importantly they’re all original and entertaining.
This is the video titled “Genie” -

It’s a tough call between the Clouds and the Good Fortune. I like the one about the clouds because the dad is able to envision something that the kids would absolutely LOVE. And, I like the good fortune one because one of the minor characters is able to bring flowers to the girl/woman he really loves.
I think the main character in that one is the most generous… giving away so much for so many others.
It’s hard to say what I’d do with $1 Million. I think I’d use it to move into a ‘dream home.’ And, by that, I don’t mean something that like a $300K house with 3,000 sq. ft. By that, I mean, I’d love to get a ‘hobby farm’ so that we could have horses and maybe a cow or goat and a few chickens perhaps.

I love Good Fortune, I love how he leaves all the Origami Swan bills all over for people.
I would pay off my house, buy my sister a house so she can stop struggling to pay rent every month and pay all our bills off in full. Invest and save the rest.

If I had a million I’d try to do something like the guy in the Good Fortune Video! I’d love to hide and give out 100 bills to help people out..that is if I had any left over after paying all my debts! (I’d probably have about 2 or so!haha)

The good fortune brought tears to my eyes. Seeing someone who had a rough start get blessed with that money and give it to people who needed it was beautiful.
If I had a million dollars I would take care of my mom and family first. Pay off my moms debt, buy her a new house and car. Pay off my grandpas debt, and then after everyone I loved was taken care of I’d by myself a house big enough for me and partner with a little extra room for the baby I would start working on after we had the money. I would make a large donation of it to the school I used to work at. The day care program I worked for is tuition funded and I would want to help as much as possible.
If I won the Six Flag tickets, I would take my 9yr old and his friend, and my husband for my 31st birthday. I havent been to Six Flags since I was a kid and could use some fun “feeling like a kid.”
If I had a million dollars, I would pay off my school loans, maybe buy a house, help my family and friends with some of their bills and invest some money in creating a nonprofit for kids.
