A guest post by Robyn of RobynsOnlineWorld.com for our Back To School Connection campaign.
These days teens are so much more globally aware of many things, including the real need for all of us to be more conscious of how we treat Earth. One easy way for them to do this is by switching back to reusable drinking vessels (sounds fancy LOL) instead of buying disposable bottles that just keep getting thrown away.
U-Turn 2 Tap was born out of a need to provide products that are good for the body, the community, and the planet. Their bottles are stainless steel which is BPA and Phthalate free. In the US alone, 60 million plastic bottles are hitting the landfills every single day – using a reusable bottle drastically will reduce that number!
You have lots of choices when it comes to reusable bottles of course, but the folks at U-Turn 2 Tap sent Taylor this cool one to try out and here is what he really likes about it.
* It helps reduce waste but having something refillable
* It looks cool and they have a lot of other cool designs for sale
* No BPA junk
* It comes with 2 lids – the regular screw on one and the sport cap with the squirty thing – that is very cool
* It is a good size, 27oz (they have other sizes too though)
You can learn more about U-Turn 2 Tap’s wonderful business on their website, you can order their cool bottles online, like U-Turn 2 Tap on Facebook, and follow @uturn2tap on Twitter.
I took a quick poll on Twitter today and found that more and more schools are allowing kids to bring water bottles into class these days. I love that! Taylor starts school Friday and we aren’t sure what the high school policy is on this, but we will definitely be finding out. Does your middle school and high school allow kids to bring water bottles? Can they be reusable? I’ve heard some only allow clear disposable (ugh).
Robyn’s Disclosure: I received a U-Turn 2 Tap water bottle to review for this post. The opinions are strictly my own (and Taylor’s).Transparency is everything
