I have a confession to make – I have an Inner Mean Girl and I hate her! She tells me that what I do isn’t good enough, that I’m ugly and fat especially when I look at photos and videos of myself. She yells at me too so I can’t hear the compliments that people give me, or that quiet voice that’s telling me to slow down because I need to rest. She makes me compare myself to other women about how great they look, how organized they are and what great mothers they are.
That Inner Mean Girl has been with me for a long time and she needs to be stopped. She’s sabotaging my life. I want to be happier, listen to self love talk and grow personally and professionally. I’ve tried to do this alone, but haven’t succeeded.
With The 40 Day Inner Mean Girl Cleanse, I’ll be embarking on a new way of life. I’ll get rid of 6 habits from my Inner Mean Girl, one every week for 6 weeks and replace each bad habit with a positive one. Here’s how the Cleanse works:
- Two amazing women, Christine Arylo and Amy Ahlers – master coaches & co-founders of Inner Mean Girl Reform School will run the group.
- Women from around the world are joining in with me to inspire each other.
- Every day I’ll do a short practice to keep me going for the week.
- Every Wednesday I’ll get an email and a video about the destructive habit we’re working on with a self loving habit to replace it with.
- Every Friday I’ll attend a conversation with people who will inspire me to shut up my mean girl. These conversations will be taped in case I miss one or want to go back and listen again.
I’m ready to lose my Mean Girl. The more women involved, the better. We can support, inspire and hold each other accountable. The 40 Day Inner Mean Girl Cleanse is FREE, so sign up today! The Cleanse starts Friday, September 25th at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 5pm GMT with SARK, best selling author of Succulent, Wild Woman.
What does your Inner Mean Girl say to you?

I love the idea and I just signed up.
I find this “challenge” really interesting. My inner mean girl says I need to be more organized, schedule tasks, have more “me time” and I really want to get rid of this ugly girl.
I’m glad I have you on my feed reader otherwise I wouldn’t know about this free challenge.

I am thinking about signing up. Thanks for sharing what your inner mean girl says to u-I personally know because I have one too. Mine tells me at times that I am worthless, a horrible parent-etc. More so in the past than it does now…finally at the ripe old age of 53-I have started to love myself more and that I am worth something….and don’t ever forget , Connie, that you are worth a lot
Taking this challenge and doing the Cleanse is a wonderful experience – one I’m blogging about as well!
My inner mean girl likes to say, I’m too old – too droopy – to heavy…
Giving her the voot!

I’m doing the cleanse too and I’m so ready to send my Inner Mean Girl packing. I look forward to sharing this journey with you. Here’s to a happier healthier us!
I’m doing the cleanse too and it sounds like out IMGs are getting their dialogue from the same place!
Happy that you’re part of it Laura! Finally something open to people worldwide!
I’m excited to be part of the IMG cleanse too. We can compare notes at Type-A Mom
Thank you so much for sharing about yourself Julie. It’s tough to open up like that. Thank you for the encouragement too. I’m working the program and loving it!
Grace, I’d like to give my Inner Mean Girl a big kick in the pants! With the way you write on your blog, you’re ahead of the game. Happy to have you with us on this journey.
Daenel, So nice to have you along for the ride. Lots of IMG’s will be left on the roadside while we have a party with our awesome selves!
Oh yes Christine, those IMG’s are taught to us, brought to us and then grown by us. But we’ll get rid of them! Love sharing this with you!
