Our back to school shopping is done, unless we find out that there’s school supplies we didn’t get that were needed. The new middle school that Sammi will be attending didn’t put out a list of supplies, so we played “guess what a 6th grader will need?”.
But thanks to Staples, we got amazing bargains! I have to admit that this is my first time shopping for Back To School at Staples. I didn’t think the prices at another store could be beat, but they were. Since I signed up for Staples Rewards I get emails with their sale advertisements in advance. I can then compare prices. Plus I get coupons and money back for what I spend.
I also had a $15 Reward check for recycling my printer cartridges. Those add up to a pretty penny. Staples, I think I’ll be doing much more shopping with you! You can follow Staples on Twitter at StaplesTweets and get even more bargains.

I am almost done….we need a pencil box and we will get that next week at Staples.
I adore Staples. I think their prices are great and they always have the markers/pens that I love (and I’m super picky about my writing utensils).
I’m not very happy with this purchase. It has trouble awakening up from ‘sleeping’. It goes into a cycle of straining to turn on, then off–over and over again, and you can just get it out by holding the power key down for a moment and restarting everything. Not convenient. I’ve been on the telephone with HP for the past 4 days seeking to fix it–still not restored. Additionally–the microphone is not operating, even with HP tech attempting to get it turned on. The speakers are terrible quality, as well.
