Packing For Our Cruise

I’m packing for our cruise that leaves on July 18th. We’ll be going on the Carnival Legend to the Western Caribbean. It worked out well that I shopped for clothing that I can use for both this vacation and for BlogHer 10. Plus some of the clothing I got for my daughter, Sammi will be used for back to school.

Since my husband isn’t feeling well, the packing is up to me. We usually do it together and have the perfect system. Now I’ll have to do “his” portion as well. I’m sure I’ll figure it out, though. I’ve decided to take my laptop as the ship has Wi-Fi spots on board.

I’m also taking my own shampoo and conditioner since my hair is used to it. I don’t want frizzy hair for a week. Although I don’t wear make-up very often, I’ll be bringing all of mine along. I know I’ll be wearing it every night for dinner. I hope that have a decent vanity mirror and lighting so I can see what I’m doing when I put on my make-up.

Just need a few last minute things which I’m hoping to get today and then I’ll be able to finish up packing. The one thing I haven’t found yet is a bathing suit. That is the absolute worst thing to shop for and all I’ve been finding is tankinis. What happened to one piece bathing suits with tummy control?

  1. Ah, cruise packing – something I’ll have to do next Februrary myself! Maybe if I started on it now I’d have it figured out by then! I do know, though, that I’m not going to take my laptop at all – it would be just way too tempting to want to use it and I think I’d rather enjoy my first cruise sans the internet even if I do go through withdrawal!
