Electrolux and Kelly Ripa raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The theme is “split” because of the premier of Electrolux Appliance’s stand-alone refrigerator and freezer. Along with the split fridge and freezer, think banana split.
Visit Kelly Ripa’s Banana Split portion of her Kelly Confidential website where you can create a virtual banana split. The Splits For A Cause campaign is set to raise money for every split that’s made. Electrolux will donate $1 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund per banana split (with a minimum of $35,000 and a maximum of $40,000). Each banana split made counts if we want to reach the goal of $40,000 so spread the word!
You can make a banana split every day. When you register you are entered to win a daily prize of $50 and the grand prize of your own brand new Electrolux All Refrigerator and All Freezer. The campaign and sweeps runs from June 29th – September 17, 2010. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the 48 contiguous states of the US and Washington DC.
Get amazing banana split recipes from the Emperor of Ice Cream, Stephen Bruce, founder of the famed Serendipity 3 in New York City as well. But most importantly, help Electrolux raise money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund.
Disclosure: I am entered into a contest to win my own Electrolux All Refrigerator and All Freezer by writing this post. I believe in this cause though and would have written this post even without this incentive.

Good luck in the contest. How much do these Electrolux refrigerators go for anyways? Now I might have to register to win a prize. At least the proceeds will go to Ovarian cancer research too!
Keep up the good work kelly and electrolux. It is a great cause.
