Yoursphere Adventures

Yoursphere is brim full of activities for children, tweens and teens. It’s that safe social networking site that my daughter, who is 11, can visit without me looking over her shoulder. And it’s getting a lot of use now that school is almost out. There’s no more homework, so Sammi has more time to spend online. Her website of choice is now Yoursphere.

My daughter Sammi is quite satisfied with all of the activities on Yoursphere. She likes making her own space that she can call her won. On Yoursphere she created and decorated her own condo. In order to decorate her condo with furniture, she needs coins and gems. The way to earn coins is by playing games and working.

Job and Purchases

Right now she is working in the coffee shop. Other jobs include working in a diner and a cake shop. She earns gems at the beginning of each month by being a full member of Yoursphere. Sammi has also bought clothing and had her hair done at the hair salon. Again, she needed coins and gems for these purchases.

Sammi has made quite a few friends on Yoursphere. She chats and plays games with them. She even has a friend from Ireland, which she thinks is “awesome”.

I like that Sammi is learning responsibility by “working” at a job to earn coins and choosing to purchase items or save coins for larger purchases on Yoursphere. She’s also being sociable and getting to know people online. She talks about what she does at school and has become more confident. Some of her friends have joined because of what she’s shared with them.

Join Yoursphere

Yoursphere, the kids and teens, social networking site is extremely safe. It’s easy to use for both parents and children and it’s free. Go ahead and check it out. When you register please use this referral code – YSMC-0035 . It will show Yoursphere that I’m passing along the word about their site, which is my goal.

I wrote this review while participating in the Yoursphere Test Drive program by Mom Central on behalf of Yoursphere. I received a free lifetime Gold membership on, Yoursphere t-shirts, and a $50 American Express gift card to facilitate my review.

  1. That sounds like a great social site than what most youngsters now frequent which is Facebook. I think they can learn more from this site. It teaches them the value of working to be able to earn and buy things they need, and also to have fun by playing games. Better than that farmville. Lol!

  2. Great website, I recently came across it and I’m already a fan. I recently reduced my weight 30 pounds in thirty days, and I want to share my weight loss success with as many people as possible. If I can lose weight then any one can. Whatever you do, never give up and you WILL reach all your weight loss targets!

  3. I had not heard of this before. Sounds like a great social site. This site looks more appealing to me anyway.

Will try to introduce my kids to this when they get into the right age. They are are soon in the right age for that.
