The story and the imagination that goes with it, the breathtaking photo illustrations and the overall silliness will have you reading and re-reading this book to your children without any complaints.

Steve can be found on Twitter creating havoc, on Facebook where he describes himself as, “… a children’s book author: the David Bowie of Kindergardens.” and on YouTube, where he creates videos that can be described as very, very weird.
Review: I love SteamPotVille! My youngest daughter is 11, so you wouldn’t expect me reading or reviewing this, but a book with this type of zany, weird, dreamy story and illustrations is one that I savor. My daughter likes to look through it before bed to help her have “more exciting dreams”. SteamPotVille assists you to dust off your imaginative and creative side and bring it back to life. Look through the pages for hidden animals, create new stories, and take it all in again and again.

That’s awesome – I’d love to write a Children’s Book someday. Something weird too – sort of like Alice in Wonderland-ish.
I feel it allows children to dream more exciting dreams.

I do that too! I don’t have children yet, but I mean with cousins and other kids. I ask them questions for them to think of an explanation and this usually brings out some pretty creative ideas!

I use my imagination when I make machine embroidery designs. I look at other designs to get ideas, but then I force myself to find my own personal style. I’m not creative so it takes work, but I keep at it!

I think reading helps the imagination. You have to imagine the characters and settings versus TV and movies that give all that to you. I also think just writing, drawing, painting and doodling help with the imagination.

I read books all the time to the children that I provide respite to. I even read to those children that are developmentally challenged and do not any reaction to what I read or say. I recently read TURKEYS TOGETHER to one little guy who is on the Autism Spectrum and he loved the pictures in it. He loves animals and listening to stories about animals, some how this soothes him. I hope to win the SteamPotVille book giveaway so that I can add a new story to my bag.
