Caster HD iPhone App Review

Caster HD is an app that is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Caster HD is a fast paced shooting RPG game. The game begins with you choosing the gender and name of the main character. You go through a Tutorial which teaches you the controls and then it’s off to the intense game.

Just like in every game there’s bad guys – Flanx (aliens) who are trying to destroy your world. To battle Flanx you use lasers and shields that fire lasers. After completing missions you are able to upgrade weapons and attributes. When you change your attack method your hair and clothing color changes too.

The fighting is difficult at first because there is a barrage of incoming attacks.  As you continue to play it gets easier because you know what to expect, but there’s still hidden dangers.

Sammi’s Review (11 years old): I honestly wasn’t a big fan of the game at first.  The controls really confused me, but as I played I learned how to use them. The upgrades cost a lot, but that was worth it. There were a couple glitches, like I fell into a mountain once, but otherwise it was really nice. The sound affects and music were also very good.

Purchase: From Apple iTunes Store for $2.99 (iPhone and iPod Touch)

Savings Alert! – Discount: After buying the game once, you get additional episodes for Free!

I received this free app as a member of the Game Review Network.
