Midnightsky Fibers Giveaway for Mothers Day Event

Midnightsky Fibers uses  natural and nontoxic dyes and mordants to create one of a kind yarns and fibers for crafting. Jenn, the owner, interned extensively with Michele Wipplinger and Kathy Hattori of Earthues to perfect her natural dyeing technique and color matching.

Children can purchase Mother’s Day gifts that reflect their mother’s hobbies. For knitting and crocheting enthusiasts, Midnightsky Fibers, offers inexpensive, quality patterns that children can afford to purchase. Of course the selection of yarn and handmade items is well worth it also. All yarns are made with the crafter in mind by Jenn. I was amazed to find plastic soda bottle fiber made from recycled soda bottles. The selection is large and all organic.

Imogene Bougle Yarn – Brown organic undyed cotton, white undyed recycled plastic soda bottle fiber, and cochineal dyed recycled soda bottle fiber plied in 2 plies. *Cochineal is an insect based dye so this yarn is not vegan.* Each handspun yarn is unique and created with care using high quality natural dyes on the finest fibers and hand spun on a spinning wheel or spindle. Use handspun yarn to create one of a kind pieces and wearable art that makes a statement! Handwash cold and air dry. One of a kind ($47)

Cloche Hat Pattern: Snazzy! A tapered slit edged in garter stitch and simple lace yarn over details to perk up this top down hat. Use a heavy worsted weight or aran weight yarn. ($5)

Giveaway: Both the yarn and pattern together with a value of $47
