The rest of the year has some pretty awesome blogging conferences coming up in 2010. I’m thrilled to say that I’ll be attending BlogHer for the first time in August this year. After learning that IzeaFest has been canceled, I’m considering what others are on the horizon if I had extra money and/or sponsors.
- ad:tech San Francisco – April 19 – 21, the place where brands and publishers get together. I’d especially love to attend Murray Newlands Opening Night Party.
- Evo ’10 Conference – June 24 -26, some of my best blogging buds will be there plus the speakers are amazing.
- Upstate NY Blogging Conference – July 9-11, held by Christine from Cutest Kid Ever and Beth from The Angel Forever. This is a low cost event with a small number of bloggers and some companies. Details are still forthcoming.
- Type-A Mom Conference – Sept. 24-26, held in Asheville, NC, will be holding a Tribe Session.
- And if I had some pixie dust, imagine a trip to the UK and time to join in on a meeting of the London Blog Club. I have to start wishing fast because the next meeting is April 7th with Murray Newlands, who is excellent with blogger outreach, as one of the leaders.
That’s my shortlist of blogging conferences for 2010. What are some others that you’d like to attend?
I’d have a good shot at being able to go to conferences in the Northeast but there aren’t many. Blogher is sold out and that’s the one I wanted to go to.

Casual Bloggers Conference is another one. Memorial Weekend in Salt Lake City. I will be speaking on their panel called, “finding your voice”. I’m hoping there will be one where it will help me find a boyfriend but I’m not going get my hopes up
I can imagine how cool these conferences are. I hope there is something like this in our area.
