Get Started With Blogging

I’m contacted by friends, family and readers about how to get started with blogging. If you’ve been wanting to jump into blogging but feel overwhelmed, my friend Kelly has a great opportunity for you to make the leap in style. All the hard work of installation and theme set up will be done for you – you’ll even be able to watch!

Getting started with blogging can be easy when you have a guide to follow. And Blog Week is just the guide you need. It’s a special event running from March 15th to 19th.  You won’t believe the deal she’s put together for you.  It includes your domain, three months of hosting and a blog set up.  Check it all out here: Blog Week! (affiliate link)

I wish I knew about this when I began blogging. It would have saved me a lot of time, energy and money. Kelly is the real deal. She cares about moms and works to get them on the right track. I’ve always been able to get in touch with her via Twitter and email. That’s important when you’re just getting started.

This is the week to get started with blogging.

Awesome news – I love it when people help others get started w/ blogging. I’ve been doing it for ten years plus now, and professionally for half that time. When I started out, there were no “how to” sites – I had to learn it all on my own. Now in my “other” job (as a marketing consultant for solo entrepreneurs) I teach others how to “DIY” – and I just love doing it, since there are companies out there that charge small businesses thousands of dollars (literally) to do this very thing for them!

Blogging is a great way for the chronically pained to earn a living, by the way. BUT, it takes a lot of work, it ain’t easy, and it takes time. I’d suggest folks check out sites like chrisg.com, problogger.net and copyblogger.com to continue their educations as pro bloggers.
