I’m always trying to save money when I buy children’s clothes. Even though Sammi is on the small side and fits in the same size for a longer time than other girls her age, she still goes through clothing quickly. She plays hard and no matter the quality, her clothes show it after a short while. The other issue is that her taste changes often.
I was shocked when we went to Disney recently and she wanted to buy dresses and skirts. I was thrilled, but the girl who would only wear pants and sneakers wanted some fashionable dressy clothes. Sometimes I feel like I need a clothing guide to know what she wants.
I found a site, called Shop Wiki, which is like a search engine for online shopping that helps you compare prices and shipping costs. It helps to save money because there are 30,000 stores listed, not just paid listings. I took a look at the girls clothing and was pleased to find the clothes organized by category and a handy size chart. There’s even a special page devoted to dressy clothing. It includes accessories, which Sammi adores.
My favorite part though is sorting through the items by price, so I can focus on the saving money part!
