I used to pay pretty close attention to my blog stats but since the whole "Google Page Rank" debacle of a few years ago I basically gave up on keeping up with them as I also gave up on monetizing my blog. I still do the occasional ad when one is offered to me and I think it's worth doing but doing my blog for pleasure and not business really makes it unnecessary to check my stats anymore - well, except that I am occasionally curious!

I'm sure there are some good programs out there to keep up with stats - I hope you find one you like!

Google Analytics is a pretty good and free tool - and used by many bloggers and website all over the world. Woopra is also nice and gives you LIVE stats, but the free version doesn't store as much data.
