Fashion Playtes is an online site that allows you or your daughter to design clothing for her to wear. If you have a daughter like mine who is very picky about what she wears, this is a dream come true! For me, this brought back good memories of when my mother would sew my clothing that I would help her choose.
On Fashion Playtes you can use the virtual sketchbook to create their own shirts, dresses, hoodies, jackets, hats, backpacks, scarves and more. There’s now rhinestone belts for mothers and daughters. Designing includes choosing the color of the fabric, the embellishments like rhinestones, graphics, ribbons and custom labels.
My Review: Creating the clothing was actually fun. I thought my daughter and I would argue like we normally do when we go clothing shopping, but although there’s a large choice of clothing options, I approve of everything. My daughter used her creative side when she was able to add an applique, then change it to something she liked better. The process was easy, but fun.
When the shirt and dress arrived yesterday, Sammi was thrilled! She loved the way they turned out just like she wanted. She already wore her shirt today and told everyone that she “made” it herself! We have become huge fans of Fashion Playtes!
